Cushie Tushies is a 100% Australian owned company that was incorporated in February 2008. We design, manufacture and distribute our own original creations, a suite of eco-friendly products for babies.

Our philosophy is all about creating a sustainable future for our children by creating eco friendly products that are just as simple and effective to use as the alternative. Our core product, our modern cloth nappy, debunks all the myths and misconceptions surrounding cloth nappies. It is a premium, eco-friendly product, and, as they are designed to grow with your baby from newborn to toddler, they also provide incredible value.

We manufacture our goods in China and distribute them nationally from our Warehouse on The Gold Coast in Queensland. Our production design and logistics are managed from our Gold Coast location. Our marketing, sales and administration head office is located in Sydney, Australia.

Cushie Tushies began as a small business in 2005 by Michelle Fowler. Based on the success of her product and design, Michelle soon teamed up with friend Catherine Langman who had been using Cushie Tushies on her sons. Now a business partner, Cath’s background is in corporate advertising. The Cushie Tushies team now includes the two partners: founder Shell, as Design and Production Director and Cath as Marketing, Sales and Financial Director. Both are mothers who wish to strike a balance between work and family – spending quality time at home with their children, whilst nurturing and challenging our professional, creative and business interests.

We are currently stocked in a number of boutique nursery stores, pharmacies, eco/health food stores, both retail and online. It is our goal to make our products available to everyone through mass-retail outlets around Australia and internationally.
