eMove offers a range of online services that help people moving home arrange key tasks - removalist quotes, utility connections, address change notification, online shopping, advice and more. It is a freee service supported by hundreds of signed, paying service providers. eMove has a strong transactional revenue model with high barriers to entry. We are now signing strategic marketing alliances because, after years of developing the technology and signing hundreds of organisations to the service, we are ready to take eMove out to the market and drive usage and revenue.
Core Team Members
Mike Gibbons BA LLB expanded the business from 2005 to include the full range of "moving "services needed by customers. Mike's background was legal, marketing, funds management but he was attacted to the concept of a "monopoly" business which is a genuine solution and could capture the massive moving market - 3 million movers each year. eMove has now partnered with FastConnect who provide utility connections for Australia Post and the Defence Force. We are also putting an advisory board together which will assist eMove through its expansion stage.
Company Vision & Future
eMove will be the only one-stop-shop "moving house" services in Australia - with the aim of capturing minimum 10-15% of the total moving market within 3-4 years. eMove will have numerous strategic alliances in place with many major Australia organisations (incl Govt) which will constitute subtsantial, reliable and well managed traffic and revenue channels.
Current Valuation
We are looking to raise $300,000 at $3.5 million valuation with option to build stake to 25-30% within 12 months.
Exit Opportunity
We see exit as a trade sale within 3-4 years to Australia Post or major media company.
Ideal Investor
An ideal investor would want to be involved in shaping/accelerating our business marketing plans. This would involve extensive liaison with the CEO - being part of our advisory board - and using business contacts to further strategic alliances. A board position (company board) would also be appropriate, if so desired.
