Fair Dinkum Films is an Australian owned and operated company. Our aim is to deliver excellence and quality, in any aspect relating to film or media production. We specialise in, but are not limited to, production of film, television programs and other forms of visual motion pictures for broadcast and theatrical distribution, as well as online entertainment.
We endeavour to deliver to a standard that is above and beyond that of any other company that operates in Australia, on time and on budget.
Fair Dinkum Films operates as a collaborative company, whereby we work with other companies and individuals to ensure that any product that is produced with our name on it is not only to the highest standard, but an excellent representation of our company.
Core Team Members
Sean Lander, the founder and creative director of FDF, has over 5 years experience in the Australian film and TV industry. Since beginning his career as a Production Assistant on “Australia” at the age of 17, Sean has gone on to produce, shoot, edit and assistant direct a number of short, documentary and feature films.
At the age of 18 Sean wrote and directed his first professional short film, “Porchlight”.
Since moving back to his home town of Orange in early 2011, Sean has established his production company Fair Dinkum Films as a leading producer of television commercials, corporate and educational video’s for business’ in rural areas. He has produced commercials for a number of clients in Orange and as far North as Port Macquarie.
At only 21, Sean is well on his way to establishing himself in the Australian industry. His latest writing/directing effort is a trailer titled “Which Way Home” for the Optus One80 Project. It tells the story of four survivors living in Post-Apocalyptic Rural Australia. Sean hopes to sell this television series in the coming year.
Sean recently shot a 6 Part documentary series for Blue Clay Productions under the direction of Laticia Gibson, a former Today Tonight Reporter.
Following this documentary, Sean was 1st Assistant Camera/2nd Camera Operator the upcoming Australian feature film “The Rules”, a thriller to be shot around the Sydney area. It will be produced by CineGear Productions and is directed by J.D. Cohen.
