GetFounder is a unique, game-based web app which helps people find and engage with their ideal startup partners.

Advanced metrics don't work. Long, boring resumes don't work. Nothing can be more helpful than just getting into coffee shop with someone and having a chat about ideas that really excite you. GetFounder is about getting entrepreneurs and technical people who share the same vision into that situation.

The private beta will be launching in just one city (anywhere in the world), which will be chosen based on the number of signups we get on the location-aware homepage.

I realise I'm not the only person operating in this space. There are other similar websites, such as:

• we.makeastartup.com
• partnerup.com

...but I believe that GetFounder is unique because it doesn't over-think the concept of match-making. And it's fun. A lot of other sites try to cover too wide an area. I'm focused purely on the task of getting people in a room together.

Core Team Members

For now, it's just me. I'm a web developer / entrepreneur. I think the cool kids are calling us 'Micropreneurs', but I'm not a bit fan of labelling.

Company Vision & Future

When it comes to startups, I want to see less dilution of the market, and more innovation. It makes more sense for people who share a great idea to band together and produce something noteworthy, and ultimately profitable. GetFounder is the first step in this direction, and I see the company building upon that in the future.

Current Valuation

I'll get around to working on that soon. For now I'm not looking for outside help.

Ideal Investor
