Anyone with an iPhone can download FREE language courses and start practising in just a few minutes, using a Gwijo, a completely new concept in Language learning.
Audio flashcard / Language courses are created by other users on any from around the world – anyone with an iPhone who can speak more than one language can create a short course in a matter of minutes and then share it with the rest of the world at the tap of a button.
Core Team Members
John McCann - a range of digital media experience, and has launched a number of successful children's titles with a different company. Flashcards for iPad was the top education app in the Appstore for 2 weeks (ahead of TED) and has made over 70,000 sales.
Jude Novak (co-founder) - works also for the Futura Group which currently has 2 apps featured in the Appstore (Culinary Fundamentals, the Video Cookbook), and has a great understanding of UX / UI design and the education market.
Company Vision & Future
Our vision is to make language learning accessible, enjoyable and interesting (no matter where you are from, or what language you speak). We'd like to be the first company to take on face to face learning using mobile devices and allow users to create any number of course modules / course types using their mobile device.
Current Valuation
Unsure of our current valuation as we've only just launched. It will take 6 months + to kickstart a community.

We haven't considered this yet.
Ideal Investor
Our ideal investor would be someone like the "collaborativefund.com" - someone who can see the big picture, and would like the idea of growing a successful business based on shared consumption. A passion for education would also help. We could definitely use a hand with our marketing, and ideally an investor would see the need to spend time spreading the word.
