With an unmatched approach to the job search engine, HireMeUp is at the forefront of online recruitment for the growing part-time market.
Our company provides a unique approach to the traditional online job board by catering to the ever-growing part-time market. With over 30% of Australia's workforce employed in a part-time capacity (and 47% of the female workforce), we believe that it is about time an online job board took this market seriously. With a world's first search engine, simple-to-use functionality and a fresh, dynamic persona, HireMeUp is already making a big impact.
The current players in the jobsite market vary little in their approach to the job search engine and compete predominantly for full-time roles. Part time (casual, contract and temp) roles have specific requirements particularly around days, time and hours and none of this criteria is addressed by the major online recruitment websites.
Primarily, the website offers a way to match job seekers with employers based on availability - the critical concern of both parties when dealing in the part-time space.
HireMeUp’s revenue model is based on advertising and subscription income and is derived from the placement of job ads, employer advertising subscriptions, Service Provider, Course and Events listing, site-wide banner advertising, job seeker subscriptions and “Career Concierge” (personalised job-matching) services. As a web-based business, expenses are minimal.

Company Vision & Future
HireMeUp plans to be the dominant player in the part-time job site space. As a market niche with no current ownership, HireMeUp plans to take that ownership.
With the part time market growing in leaps and bounds (it now accounts for 30% of all jobs) and with 47% of all females in the workforce in Australia in part time positions, the part time niche is one that needs to be taken seriously.
With a co-ordinated outdoor advertising and radio media campaign undertaken in October and November in Sydney, as well as a programme of weekly media releases, we have been able to prove the concept and create demand and significant traffic to the site.
2012 will see the rollout of similar campaigns, including television and radio across Australia in all capital cities and major regional areas coupled with our continued media programme, enhanced SEO campaign and a growing base of strategic alliance partners.
2012 will also see the commencement of our inaugural “1000 jobs in 1000 hours” campaign – an initiative geared to assist Australian youth find work experience positions and gain value real-world experience in the work environment. With planned sponsorship of this from some major partners, we envisage this programme will not only be a beneficial community initiative but will raise the profile of HireMeUp significantly.
Our first book “Making Work Work” will also be released in 2012 providing additional exposure for the Founders and, thus, the business.
We believe that we can dominate the part time workspace with a dynamic and fresh brand and make our company appealing as a buyout by one of the major full time job site players as they currently don't service this niche (or service it well).
