Jayride is a local social ridesharing application. Part of the collaboration economy we connect passengers with drivers sharing point-to-point transit to save them money and emissions.

We help them safely meet other travelers, have more fun on the road, and profit from their excess capacity.

Jayride is destined to become an international one-stop transportation search engine. User content will become our unique selling propostion displayed alongside commercial transit content to deliver everything you need to know about your transport options, all in one location.

As a global tansport search engine we will provide channel sales for transit partners, premium accounts and listings, and give small transport operators the ability to go straight to market.

All of these at cost, delivering a unique slice of revenue in the global travel market.

Jayride launched in December 2008 in New Zealand. Since that time we have established a defensible market position as the largest carpool site in the country. We launched in Australia in September 2010.

We are looking for funding to help us ramp up our membership drive, expand into new global markets, and execute on our commercial content opportunity.
