Launched Jan 2011, The Beachfront Club is already performing in the marketplace like a rising star.
The website uses the latest mapping technology to show all of the true beachfront hotels of the world, those directly on the beach with no road or traffic between rooms and the water. Currently, about 7,500 hotels are displayed on over 2,200 unique maps.
We aim to create new levels of confidence in the beach-lovers of the world, an audience of about a billion.
As of May 2011 only the core mapping and hotel listings are functioning, while many other planned functions have yet to be completed. Still, even this basic website is receiving overwhelming approval from both the world's press and from users.
Many 100s of newspapers and on-line media around the world have already featured the website (in Australia too) and they are still coming out, giving it overwhelmingly positive reviews. The Daily Mail in London awarded it 'Website of the Week' in March. Powerful user endorsement is evidenced in its unprecedented Alexa rankings (bounce rate 11%; page-views 48; time on-site 35 minutes).
When complete The Beachfront Club will be one of the most interactive websites of all, with user participation on many levels. The mapping software is cutting edge, and the whole site is planned to use the very latest functions in new and innovative ways to create a high level of user interaction.
The founder, John Everingham, is Australian and a resident of Thailand. The parent company, The Beachfront Club Company Limited, is based in Hong Kong. Many operations, particularly those driving content and marketing, are carried out in Bangkok through a franchise company set up for the purpose, The Beachfront Club (Thailand) Company Limited.

Core Team Members
John Everingham, Australian citizen and long-time resident of Thailand, is the founder and creative force behind the project. He was a magazine publisher in Thailand and Southeast Asia for 20 years before switching to digital media.
Wei Liang Yu, Chinese citizen and a resident of Thailand, is a Director, the major financial contributor and one of the major forces behind it. She has a background in marketing and is fast gaining expertise in administration of digital media.
Ananda Everingham, Thai and Australian citizen, son of John, and one of the best-known actors in Thailand, is a major financial contributor.
The Thai company is run by local staff who have worked for John for 20 years.

We plan to make The Beachfront Club the world's major on-line resource for everything related to the beach: beachfront hotels, restaurants, sport & activities, all holiday activities, romance, entertainment, photography, boating, resort design & planning, beach environment and marine science.
We believe we can achieve an Alexa ranking better than 20,000 within 3 - 4 years, giving the company very high value.
Current Valuation
Only one professional banking/investment agent (from Melbourne) has assessed The Beachfront Club to date. He put a current value of $8 million on the business.
Exit Opportunity
If The Beachfront Club continues its fast take-off, and rockets as we expect it to, it should attain a high value by the end of three or four years. The aim is to reach a global Alexa ranking of 20,000. A website in the travel industry at this level has a market value near $100 million.
