THE LOOP is the first Australian website of its kind that allows people to showcase their creative portfolio and work experience through a professional multimedia profile online.
The site will target individuals working in creative industries specifically advertising, design, film, TV, photography, fashion, publishing, music, digital media, marketing, sales and entertainment. But you don’t have to be creating ten short films a week to sign up. The registration system is designed to promote all positions across the creative industries and with over 486,715 people in the creative workforce across Australia[1] this is a healthy and lucrative market to tap into.
THE LOOP is a product built firstly for the consumer. It’s not your average jobs board that only attracts the active job seeker. The opportunity for creative self-promotion, networking and collaboration will drive the creative community. This will enable companies to cherry-pick from a larger pool of talent, including the passive job seeker. This is a major strategy for the big job board players in the Australian market, and one they have yet to have much success with. In many ways THE LOOP, through aggregation of people and companies, turns the traditional model of advertising jobs and recruiting talent on its head and provides an active base of fresh talent, in particular new graduates and freelancer.
The growth of social media, especially personal publishing, has exploded and there is no better place to hold conversations, connect, share and inspire than in targeted communities like THE LOOP. Where a content rich professional community thrives, so will a jobs board.

Company Vision & Future
THE LOOP will be the best creative platform for people to connect, share inspire and hire.
Current Valuation
The Loop is looking for $250,000 seed investment. Using the heavily discounted valuation of $2million, the new shareholders would own 10% to 12.5% of the business with an initial investment of $200,000 ($2million * 10%) to $250,000 ($2million * 12.5%).
However, if revenue forecasts are realised a 10% - 12.5% share in the business would earn investors a massive $2 million (10% * $20.6 million) - $2.6 million (12.5% * 20.6 million), a 1030% to 1288% rate of return.
Exit Opportunity
The management team are both major investors in The Loop and are incentivised to provide capital growth to investors over the next 3 to 5 years. The Loop’s strategy is to rapidly grow the business to establish market share and achieve profitability. It is not anticipated that dividends would be paid until the business is sustainably trading, but to build The Loop’s capital value.
There are two likely ways to crystallise that gain, which could occur after 3 to 5 years of operation, namely;
1. Trade sale to an established Jobs Board / Recruitment / or Media company
With an established base across the creative industries and a model that combines a business / people multimedia directory, and social networking with jobs board, The Loop will be an attractive avenue for growth for many of the large jobs boards, recruitment agencies or media owners.
2. Listing on appropriate stock exchange in one or more territories.
Thus Investors would be rewarded by a share of capital gain realised in The Loop, once realised in 3 to 5 years. Alternatively the Investors may choose to increase their equity outright or a controlling interest.
Ideal Investor
