Thinxt™ is designed to assist in student recruitment and placement our company aims to develop the leading tool to meet the needs of students and businesses in placing them in both short term and long term work.
The development of our online CV Standardisation Database technology and business portal presents both an exciting and challenging prospect. We aim to continually challenge the boundaries of the current methods of student and graduate recruitment, adding new aspects and features as we continue to expand our client base.
Core Team Members
Core team members document can be requested with CV's of all members of the company involved. At present it has been agreed internally at Thinxt™ that members of staff and consultants shall not be publicly outlined.
Company Vision & Future
Ideal circumstances Thinxt™ is an international player in the student recruitment market with regionally tailored information and recruitment processes. We should be able to provide a universal portal to help SME's find the students that they want without standing in line behind larger firms.
Current Valuation
The current valuation is difficult to determine as always with startups, however the minimum investment we would accept is A$50,000. Discussions around value and allotment of equity / instruments issued can be discussed in person.
Exit Opportunity
There are potential three exit opportunities for our company.
1. Trade sale to a larger competitor looking for a successful Student Recruitment bolt on to their existing online recruiting platform (for example Seek or MyCareer);
2. Sale to the Government as the premiere student services business assisting in determining the best education alternatives (effectively a University level equivalent of the new My School website);
3. Publicly list the company on the Australian Stock Exchange. However this would not be a preferred method given the unfavourable treatment that many information technology companies receive. Unless there is a 10 year track record of earnings showing a level of consistency commensurate with most listed industrial companies.
4. Sell to the Group of 8 Universities for their internal careers units to run once established;
5. Finally the third is that the origianl investor is extremely keen on the business and would be willing to agree to a buy back clause at a pre-defined period of time in the future for the investment.
Ideal Investor
The investor should have extensive experience in preferably both the Information Technology and the Recruitment industries. In having that experience they should assist in honing the project as well as assisting in consistently challenging the content. With a minimum of 10 years industry experience they should also bring to the table a number of businesses who would be interested in our product either themselves, or know other businesses who are, thereby assisting in our marketing efforts as well.
