The HomepageHome Webportal has been successfully trialled in one school so far, helping teachers and students (specifically) to surf the Internet quickly, easily and safely.

The Webportal is a bookmark management tool that is saving teachers and students time, and helping them to use their time more efficiently during class time.

Since the beginning of Term 3 2009, we received a lot of ideas from the teachers how to make the Webportal even better.

As a result, we want to enhance the existing tools and build new ones that will make the Webportal extremely powerful.

*We want to give parents the ability to "link" their home accounts with the school so that they can communicate with teachers and administrators;

*We want to enable students to store files in their own secure folders, and be able submit assignments as well without thumb drives, MP3's, CDs or other storage devices;

*We want teachers and administrators to be able to send messages instantly to every parent or specific parents;

*Multiple schools in an Association of Schools will be able to send messages and file share with one another more quickly and easily;

*We want to enhance the existing bookmark management tools so that students can more easily distinguish website links (particularly for early learning); and

*We want to provide schools with a state-of-the-art content filtering system that is tailored to suit schools, taking into consideration their specific needs and concerns.

We want to help Schools to do what they do best - educating our children for tomorrow with the most efficient tools available!
