New Australia Startup - Scan2List

The Scan2List Launch Party was held last night at Victoria Barracks, Paddington, NSW. Nice venue, fun party, cool App!
Scan2List is a new Australian startup headed by Founder/CEO Kate Cass with Tim Stanford handling Bus Dev and Roger Kermode as Chairman. It’s an iPhone App with the core technology licenced from a successful US developer and specifically modified for the Australian Market.
The free iPhone App (yet to be released on other mobile platforms) allows the user to “quickly and easily create shopping lists either by scanning the barcodes of items in your pantry directly onto your phone or manually adding them to your list”. I’ve yet to have a play with the App but the demo went smoothly, and the app seemed both useful and easy to use. I’ll give it a go myself when it launches on Android.
