Aussie Web Millionaire Wants to Make You One Too

By Rachel Youens on Thursday, October 1st, 2009

I almost hate to write about it because it’s such a publicity stunt, but 25-year-old web millionaire Steven Pharr and his site Fatzoo are about to give away a million dollars and set a slew of world records all over a game of Rock Paper Scissors.

The site announced yesterday that on December 20 the Australia-based Fatzoo will host the world championships of the ancient Chinese game. Starting in July, Fatzoo has been giving out daily and weekly prizes of up to $350 US for the game and has a global collection of players.

Pharr sold his previous company, 199Bongo, in 2007  for more then $5 million. The search company allowed users to call or text in questions and receive immediate answers in response. Perhaps if you need to get your startup cashed up, you’re just a mathematical 23 opponents from cool mil?
