We’ve been talking a lot about Tradeslot lately, the green startup recently received funding from COMET and had some change inleadership, but the company saw a win this week as it took the Guy Mason Hottest Technology award at the ANZA Gateway to the USevent in San Francisco.
• Amethon announced last week it has joined the Acision Innovation Network, enabling it to offer mobile internet and viral MMS analytics to mobile operators across the world. The addition of Amethon to the Acision Innovation Network will allow mobile operators to access Amethon’s Mobile Analytics and Content Fingerprinting solutions through their local Acision account team, which provide advanced insight into mobile internet traffic and tracking of innovative viral MMS campaigns.
• Ross Hill of business review site Yabble is using the site’s weekly newsletter to advertise his other big venture, The Hive. Wednesday night Sal Malatesta of Melbourne’s St. Ali cafe will speak to the entrepreneurial crowd.
• The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step, and for a startup, the journey of thousands of dollars starts with a single invoice. Sydney startup Infome celebrated its first invoice from the company’s site pickmylunch.com.au. Founder Scott Middleton documents his challenges with his startup on his own site and wrote about sending off the first invoice and the things he learned in the process.
